Welcome to Part 2 of my Podcast exploration into the effect that photographers, models, advertisers and editors have on the world through the images we create. This episode features model, Lauren Vickers.
Starting as a child model, to the inner workings of being a Playboy playmate, flying around the globe whilst hosting a Moto GP television program and working for countless clients, Lauren now runs her own activewear fashion business, as well as being a personal trainer and still keeping busy as a model, presenter and ambassador for various fashion and beauty brands, as well as the only female ambassador for Ducati Motorcycles in Australia.
Lauren continues to enjoy an exceptional career and has seen the industry change from film to digital, as well as the introduction of the internet era and social media to our industry. There are few others with her experience and knowledge of just how the industry works around the world.

Posted at 02:35h, 11 MayJoel, thank you for the great podcast with Lauren Vickers. I have been a fan of hers since the MotoGP days and always thought she represented herself and sponsors very well. It was actually through her website that I became aware of your work about the time you were doing the nudes in the water that you two discussed on the podcast. Great to hear more insight into what went into creating these wonderful works of art from both sides of the camera. I hope you two work together on more projects soon. Thank you again. Glenn.
