Sea Tulips

The bulbous flower like sponges that hang off the side of this underwater cliff are called ‘sea tulips’ and often appear to defy gravity as the movement of the ocean pushes them back and forth.

This image was taken just off the headland on the northern side of Freshwater beach. It is one of my first choice dive sites when the ocean is calm. At the right time of day, when the sun is at the right angle, it is possible to really light up some amazing underwater scenes.

Let me show you what I am doing
Creativity needs eyeballs to succeed, so here’s the deal. Let me show you the best of what I create. I will do this by email, once every few weeks or so. All I ask of you in return is that you take a look. If you want, you can then reply to my emails and keep the conversation going. No algorithms, advertising or junk. Just a way to communicate, between you and me…
